University of HartfordAcademic Services and Evaluation CoordinatorJob DescriptionProvides administrative and support services to the Academic Services department to ensure the evaluation of student academic records and transcripts are performed in a timely manner to determine eligibility for admission, degree completion and/or graduation as necessary and appropriate. Performs all duties in full support of the University's brand, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the University of Hartford's core business - the education of students.Essential Job Duties Job Duties This job description of the job is for identification and administrative purposes only. Description of Key Responsibility: Ensures the maintenance of databases for reporting and updates to the marketing plan. Maintains weekly reports for MBA program. Processes all advisor changes for graduate programs.* Essential Duty?: Yes Percentage Of Time: 40% Description of Key Responsibility: Acts as the primary point of contact for department emails. Provides quality customer service to both internal and external constituencies on the telephone, in person and in writing. Handles highly sensitive information with confidentiality and tact while safeguarding the interest and well-being of the student. Essential Duty?: Yes Percentage Of Time: 30% Description of Key Responsibility: Ensures departmental supplies are ordered as necessary and within budgetary guidelines for effective office operations. Opens, sorts and distributes department mail. Essential Duty?: Yes Percentage Of Time: 10% Description of Key Responsibility: Organizes all recruiting events including organizing materials. Provides quality customer service to both internal and external constituencies on the phone, in person and email. Handles highly sensitive information with confidentiality. Maintains blackboard site with up-to-date information and student enrolment. Essential Duty?: Yes Percentage Of Time: 10% Description of Key Responsibility: Performs other related duties as assigned. Essential Duty?: Yes Percentage Of Time: 5% Description of Key Responsibility: Serves to support the graduate programs as necessary and appropriate. Maintains distribution list for emails. Orders brochures amp; t-shirts for events. Management of departmental financial resources as well as compliance with P-card. Organize events for graduate programs (GMAT waiver, happy hour, Open houses, etc) Black board announcements, and interviews. Essential Duty?: Yes Percentage Of Time: 5% Formal Education:Associates Degree or Two Year equivalent required.Work Experience:Normal office situationImpact of Actions:Makes recommendations or decisions which usually affect the entire department.Complexity:Varied. Work is complex and varied and requires the selection and application of technical and detailed guidelines. Problems are not easy to identify, but are similar to those seen before. Moderate analytical ability is needed to gather and interpret data where results/answers can be found after analysis of several facts. Solutions can often be found by using methods chosen before in other situations.Decision Making:Varied: Supervisor is available on an "as needed" basis to establish general objectives and to identify potential resources for assistance.
