Miami Dade College (MDC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as Adjunct Faculty in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) at our Medical Campus. This is an exciting opportunity to educate and train future MRI professionals in a dynamic and supportive academic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality instruction in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) courses.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with program curricula and industry standards.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student learning.
- Assess student performance through evaluations, projects, and clinical competencies.
- Provide mentorship and academic support to students, fostering their professional growth.
- Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and healthcare education.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and institutional requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in any field and a Bachelor’s degree in any field OR Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine, Radiography, Radiation Therapy, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Valid registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- ARRT Certificate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
- A minimum of three (3) years of full-time work and/or instructional experience in the MRI field. Ability to function well in a technological environment and willing to use technological tools in instruction
- Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
- Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
