The Content Strategist will report to the Director of Account Management

Job Overview

The Content Strategist is responsible for scheduling and publishing organic social content and email campaigns, building and maintaining content calendars, researching new trends, proofing and assisting with content copywriting, and optimizing organic results. This role will work closely with the Account Managers in assisting in day-to-day client tasks to ensure client projects come to life with a successful and well-executed content marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate is team-spirited, skilled, and technologically advanced, with an eye for detail. C Squared Social is a high-volume agency, so completing production tasks quickly and efficiently is a must in this role.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Build and maintain content calendars

  • Schedule, edit, and publish content on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn through our platform Sprout Social

  • Onboard new clients and maintain ongoing email communication

  • Measure and optimize content strategy based on analytics

  • Edit and proof content copy as needed
  • Build Email Templates and Workflows

  • Be willing to take on new tasks as the department expands

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years professional content experience

  • 1-2 years of email marketing experience (Klayvio experience helpful)

  • Strong technical skills

  • Collaborative spirit

  • Extremely strong time management skills

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

  • Prefer experience with content management platforms

  • strong communicator
