Job Description

One of Charlotte’s Fastest Growing Music Schools is looking for a full-time front desk team member to help us share music with kids!


This is an opportunity to launch a career with a fast growing organization with continued growth in the long term.  This means room for advancement and possible upper-managerial roles in the future for the right person who is looking to be part of a company that is making a difference in the community.  


Hours/Schedule: Monday - Friday 12pm - 8pm.  Occasional Saturdays


Who We Are: Since 2016 we have been passionately providing musical education for children and adults along every step of their musical journey, specifically in piano, guitar, voice, violin, ukulele and drum lessons.  We have grown from 30 students to over 550 in that time.

What We Are Looking For: 

We are looking for somebody who's superb at handling details. An individual who is loyal, hardworking, extroverted, always follows-through, and almost never misses a deadline. So productive your last employer considered hiring TWO people to replace you after you left. We are looking for someone with a smile on their face and a Disney voice! 


We are looking for energetic, sharp applicants who can easily familiarize themselves with today's technology resources including Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Drive, etc.) and helping to establish Standard Operating Procedures using a multitude of apps. Our office staff are responsible for keeping up with these new platforms, and while extensive training is provided, continued education is a part of our workplace culture.

Excellent communication skills over the phone and a personality that makes our clients feel welcomed is an essential part of this role which involves sales and customer service along with other administrative responsibilities.

The individual who fills this position will share administrative responsibilities such as helping to keep registration, scheduling, and information requests running smoothly. Additionally, strong organizational skills, (both physical and digital) are a must. The individual who fills this position should possess a strong memory and be able to accomplish tasks in many different areas without losing focus.

The individual who fills this position will be willing to learn new skills that are specific to our operations, rather than relying on previous education and experience.

This individual will be willing to go the extra mile for our clients, because they care about the work we are doing to serve the community.

Must have reliable transportation.

Must reside within 45 minutes of the studio address

No music or music education experience is required, however a love of the arts is a plus!

Job duties:

-Answering phones (We're looking for the GOLDEN VOICE, that sounds amazing on the phone with a great tone and excitement for our customers. If anyone has told you, that your voice should be on the radio, we're looking for you).

-An ability to sell themselves as well as our services. Looking for someone with a great personality that is a people person.

-Registering clients

-Processing paperwork



-Loves organization, paperwork, and spreadsheets!

-Communicating with teachers, staff and clients.

-Selling minimal retail / supplies at the desk.

-Interacting with customers

-Giving customer support to our software licensees.

-Ability to do basic math tasks such as assisting with payment audits and

assisting with QuickBooks, etc.

Ideal qualifications and experience:

Any position that is fast paced, with a lot of interaction with the public.

Ideal traits:
-People person

-Great memory (forgetful types need not apply)

-Good with Microsoft office and Google products

-Great phone skills

-Ability to work alone

-Ability to multi task and keep up with lots of details

-Manage a fast paced environment
