Currently seeking a maintenance tech for an immediate vacancy in the Dallas County area. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of related experience and hold a HVAC certification. The maintenance assistant is primarily responsible for supporting the maintenance supervisor with the overall maintenance of the property and grounds.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician

Ensure routine service requests are completed within 24-hour period.
Responsible for completing emergency service request as soon as possible.
Perform preventative maintenance projects.
Complete painting/caulking.
Complete cleaning or schedule with housekeeper.
Check appliance and light fixtures.
Repair or replace any damages.
Complete any other necessary maintenance needed to make it "market ready."
Communicate to maintenance supervisor possible problems including carpet and vinyl replacement
Responsible for appearance of office, clubhouse, and models.
Responsible for the appearance of upkeep of, fitness center, pool areas, laundry rooms, restrooms, picnic areas, tennis courts, and any other amenities on property.
Responsible for the maintenance of all property lighting (street poles, lollipop lights, breezeway lights, exit sign, and emergency lights). Should be inspected on a weekly basis.
Complete any special property projects assigned by the manager.
Get involved in resident activities.
Responsible for assisting "on call" for an emergency schedule for evenings, weekends, and holiday coverage.
Enforce proper company policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Maintenance Technician
```
At least 2 years of related experience
HVAC certification
Knowledgeable in the following area: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, irrigation, carpentry, lighting, and exterior extermination
Must have own tools necessary to perform job
Must be a team player and be able to work with little supervision
Must be detail oriented
Must be able to pass a background check.
