Our center is searching for a highly organized, energetic technologist to join our team.
Must be a clinically competent professional in the field of radiology and possess knowledge and expertise of C-Arm procedures.
Duties are as follows:
Responsible for producing images of optimum diagnostic quality to assist with patient diagnosis. Must exhibit excellent patient communication and relation skills. Must possess a fundamental knowledge of anatomy and positioning and consistently practice radiation safety precautions in accordance with ALARA. Must be familiar with all aspects of the x-ray profession including use of standard and portable equipment. Must be proficient with C-Arm and have a necessary understanding of surgical procedures. Fluoroscopy experience is highly recommended but not required. Professionally obtain and document patient's medical history. Thoroughly give explanations of processes and procedures to alleviate unnecessary stress and anxiety and ultimately instill trust and confidence in patient care. Responsible for the preparation of rooms and procedures as well as sanitation of equipment. Demonstrates the ability to work individually and as a part of the team while promoting a positive work environment. Requirements:
At least 2-5 years experience in the field of radiology with a minimum 2 years experience with C-Arm surgical procedures. Valid ARRT Registration IEMA Licensed CPR Certified Compliance with Continuing Education Requirements Job Type: Contract
