Your tasks and responsibilities Bayer U.S. LLC's Whippany, NJ, office seeks a Human Resources Specialist - Pharmaceuticals, Latin America to coordinate the company's regional governance in the pharmaceutical and radiology business throughout Latin America. The primary responsibilities of this role, Human Resources Specialist - Pharmaceuticals, Latin America, are to: assisting and supporting the Human Resources Business Partner Latin America; coordinating special projects and initiatives to develop and enhance the HR function across multiple Latin American countries; ensuring the implementation and application of Bayer HR directives, policies, processes, systems and programs for PH and RAD employees in alignment with the local HR and in accordance with local law in each country; ensuring the data quality maintenance of HR systems following the legislation and special needs in the LatAm countries; and supporting the long and short term assignment processes with global mobility guidance. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration or a related field five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related human resources position, including recruiting, coaching, compensation and benefits. working within a matrix structure in workforce planning as well as, succession planning, leadership development, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and working in the pharmaceutical and medical devices area in one or more Latin American countries; (ii) interfacing with individuals at all levels of the organization (with Latin America as the main market); and (iii) working with/within the relevant laws and regulations concerning compensations and benefits for the Latin American market (especially Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Colombia). Experience can be concurrent. Must be fluent (written and spoken) in Spanish or Portuguese. Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally to various unanticipated employer, client, and other locations up to 70%.
