The Department of English at Pacific University, Oregon seeks aspecialist in rhetoric and composition for a one-to-three-yearrenewable, full-time Visiting Assistant Professorship. We seekcandidates committed to teaching undergraduate writing and who havesome experience developing writing-center services, writingcurricula, and assessment. Course load is 3:2 with a serviceassignment, teaching introductory composition/rhetoric courses anda section of First-Year Seminar. Required: PhD prior to Fall 2019,and must have experience teaching first-year composition at thecollege level.
