SUMMARY: Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing activities with a focused effort on product marketing and management. Provide support for marketing initiatives to further company goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.)Execute tactical implementation of initiatives to develop potential customer base and to generate awareness of existing and new PBL products and servicesCollaborate in the development of marketing content to promote product and service offerings (e.g. copy writing, eNewsletters, flyers/brochures, etc.)Perform marketing elements of product launches including digital marketing effortsMaintain website as a customer-facing outlet outfitted with key data and informationEstablish and maintain regular communication with key customers and distribution partners providing support, information and materials as necessaryRespond to incoming requests for customer assistance in a timely mannerMaintain product database and segmented price lists for distribution partnershipsProvide market research to support business decisions and marketing initiatives as needed; Assist with evaluating ROI of marketing activitiesWork with internal parties to improve usage of CRM databaseProvide order processing backup for Customer Service Associate as necessaryPerforms additional duties and/or other projects as required or assigned
REQUIREMENTS:4-year degree with at least 1 year of experience in marketing (preferably with a life science organization)Interest in product management and product marketing, and a basic understanding of digital marketing conceptsExcellent written and oral communication skills (phone, email, online chat) with a strong ability to communicate information effectivelyProficient computer skills and proven experience with Microsoft Office SuiteBasic experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), e-mail marketing applications, website platforms, CRM (Salesforce)Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and prioritize high-value work; Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a teamStrong work ethic and positive attitude
