Responsibilities

The Technical Analyst/Writer has similar responsibilities to those of an Intelligence Analyst but with a focus on the writing and editing of technical papers, highlights, and findings. A Technical Analyst/Writer has strong analytic and critical thinking skills, the ability to think strategically and in a non-linear fashion, is able to absorb and synthesize a large amount of data and information, and presents findings in a concise way for a variety of audiences often under a tight deadline. The Technical Analyst/Writer has strong writing and editing skills with extensive experience writing in a manner consistent with customer writing practices and has experience across Agency business lines.

  • Conceptual, quantitative, organizational, research, written and verbal communication, sound judgment, problem solving, and independent working skills.
  • Interpersonal and teamwork skills to work with individuals and organizations, to include varying levels and types (Government, Industry, and Academia).
  • Facilitation skills to bring diverse groups together on issues and reach consensus across stakeholders.
  • The ability to perform complex analyses and to communicate the results using accurate, concise, and effective writing and through descriptive and graphical representations.
  • Technical understanding of intelligence community requirements and contract-specific lines.
  • Flexibility in assisting with ad hoc tasks and in adjusting as tasks are re-prioritized.



Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Prior experience in writing reports for senior leader audiences in the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Prior experience as an IC analyst.
  • Prior experience on a program with interfaces to multiple IC or customer organizations.
  • Prior experience in managing requirements from multiple stakeholders

    Desired Qualifications

  • BS degree in systems engineering, information technology, or equivalent.
