Job Description General SummaryInstalls, operates, services and repairs environmental-control systems in Government Healthcare Facilities, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, HVAC troubleshooting and building automation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs day to day operations for HVAC and Building Automation maintenance in Government Healthcare Facilities Performs preventive maintenance and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of HVAC and Building Automation systems Troubleshoots and repairs a variety of HVAC and Building Automation systems and devices Mounts compressor and condenser units on platform or floor, using hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications. Installs evaporator unit in chassis or in air-duct system, using hand tools. Cuts and bends tubing to correct length and shape, using cutting and bending equipment and tools. Cuts and threads pipe, using machine-threading or hand-threading equipment. Joins tubing or pipes to various refrigerating units by means of sleeves, couplings or unions, and solders joints, using torch, forming complete circuit for refrigerant. Installs expansion and discharge valves in circuit. Connects motors, compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls and circulating ventilation fans to control panels and connects control panels to power source. Installs air and water filters in completed installation. Injects small amount of refrigerant into compressor to test systems and adds freon gas to build up prescribed operating pressure. Observes pressure and vacuum gauges and adjusts controls to insure proper operation. Tests joints and connections for gas leaks, using gauges or soap-and-water solution. Wraps pipes in insulation batting and secures them in place with cement or wire bands. Replaces defective breaker controls, thermostats, switches, fuses and electrical wiring to repair installed units, using electrician's hand tools and test equipment. May install, repair and service air conditioners, ranging from fifteen to twenty tons cooling capacity, in warehouses and small factory buildings. Must hold a Pennsylvania license at the independent practice level Job Summary This position has the primary responsibility of providing the full breadth of Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to children of all ages of military service members and their families at military installations. These services may include non medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child daycare centers and schools, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting children and youth. CYB counselors will be assigned to DoDEA schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for school position. CYB counselors will also be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation. Essential Functions Provides non medical, short term, solution focused, counseling directly to children and youth of service members. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated. CYB counselors will also have a focus on supporting the staff and personnel of CDCs, DoDEA and community schools, youth programs and summer camps as well as providing parent training and guidance. The CYB counselor will provide training and health and wellness presentations, participate in health fairs and other base/installation activities focused on children and youth. Enters counselor activity data on a daily basis through smart phone, web, or fax to assure that reporting is accurate from assigned installation while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity of service / family member. Create a presence on the installation in which the service and family members feel comfortable approaching the counselor and recognize the program to be confidential; Create a presence in child and youth settings; make self available to children, youth, and staff. When working with children counselor must abide by line of site protocol. Establishes and maintains working relationships with community resources focused on children and youth and provides appropriate linkages. Partners with POC to provide CYB services in a manner that addresses the needs of the installation/facility. Develops an excellent working relationship with the installation/facility POC. Manages duty to warn and restricted reporting situations according to DoD protocol and staffs the cases with Regional Supervisor/Regional Director. Communicates with Regional Supervisors and participate in regular individual and group supervision, sharing information regarding trends and issues on the installations and in facilities to which they are assigned. The CYB will respond to critical incidents and special requests as directed by the POC and approved by the OSD program manager. The CYB will flex schedule to respond to urgent requests as needed. Participates in regular in-services/training, Quality Improvement committees or other contract activities as assigned/appropriate. To preserve accountability for CAC cardstock, the SSM must follow the prescribed Issuance Logistic Portal acceptance procedures, including signing for stock, verifying card numbers in the carton, and accepting/rejecting each carton of a CAC shipment before the CAC UP can issue CACs from that carton. Register, process, and maintain the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and the Real-Time Automated Identification System (RAPIDS) as part of a Verifying Official's responsibilities. Perform all ID card and CAC issuance related tasks to include researching and reviewing source documents, verifying eligibility, and discussing entitlements as defined in AFI 36-3026_IP and the RAPIDS Training Guide. Issue memorandums of authorization for use of Commissary and Post Exchange to eligible customers. Perform routine operator maintenance on RAPIDS workstations and printers, i.e. change lamination, add toner, clean printers, etc. Ensure maximum protection against compromise and theft of sensitive information and prevent the misuse or misappropriation of RAPIDS. Ensure that all assigned RAPIDS workstations are operated, maintained, and secured according to security procedures. Maintain a file copy of the generic or type accreditation statement, and prepare unit-specific recommendations, through the appropriate chain of command, for input into the accreditation document, as required. Implement training and awareness for RAPIDS security, and incorporate this training into the overall unit security and RAPIDS training programs. Ensure that unit's contingency plans incorporate RAPIDS requirements. Review the system audit trail. Investigate thoroughly any security violations, in coordination with the Security Manager. Ensure the RAPIDS audit trails are reviewed at least weekly and that audit files are maintained for thirty days. Immediately report any information system security incidents discovered regarding RAPIDS in accordance with Appendix K - Incident Response Plan. Report incidents to the Identification Card Administration Project Management Office. Immediately report any attempt to gain unauthorized access to Sensitive defense information, any system failure, or any suspected defect that could lead to unauthorized disclosure. We have a tremendous customer base full of the partner customers who value our service, and it reflects not only in our rates, but out freight availability as well! We feature late model equipment, along with a dedicated staff to set you up for success! WE NOW HAVE THREE OPTIONS TO GET YOU ROLLING AND EARNING!! Our three-week TRAINING PROGRAM is aimed at getting the experienced OTR driver into the flatbed world for the first time or can be used as a light refresher course as well. We pay $600.00 a week for the four weeks. We pair you with one of our experienced and tenured company operators so set you up for success as best as possible. We prefer at least a year of OTR driving experience (regardless of type of freight hauled), but exceptions can be made! After the successful completion of the four-week program, we turn you lose for one of the following options: Our COMPANY OPTION pays 25% (with the opportunity to make 28%) of the line-haul of each load you pull. You can expect 2500-2700 miles per week (at a minimum) and our drivers usually average somewhere between $.57 and $.64 per mile for a take home check (before taxes). We run you between our customers and their markets, give you options where and when we can and guarantee that if you are out one weekend, we will have you home the next. **Depending on hometowns and customer availability, we may be able to have you home almost every weekend. *** The same trucks that are available for our lease drivers are available for this company option as well.
