Description of role:Screen printers in our company work with top of the line equipment and inks. We have an incredible work space and fast paced, focused culture. Our screen printers must be able to produce single and multiple color prints with speed and accuracy. Our screen printers also operate numbering machines. You would be responsible for all the steps involved in the printing process from setup to clean up. Reliability, attention to detail, and a great work ethic are essential in this position. Veterans make excelent candidates for this role, especially those veterans who have experience in Machine Operator and Production Roles. Tasks:- Read and understand production work order to verify quantity to be printed, color sequence, and any special requirements; locate the screens needed, tape and prepare for print, use the correct ink for the substrates.- Align screens and run a sample that is to be approved by management before the run begins. - Check printed items during production run, look for: good ink deposit and opacity, image sharpness, uniform ink flow, pin-holes and spots , and make the necessary corrections and adjustments. - After run is completed, remove excess ink from screens and squeegees and put back into the correct containers, and record important production data for future orders. - Keep work area clean, check for ink spills, loose papers, rags, and trashPerform routine maintenance on press and clean and re-tape pallets Skills and requirements:- Very strong work ethic with a particular attention to detail and a commitment to excellence- Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with co-workers.- A strong appreciation and dedication towards improving and maintaining quality- A positive and energetic attitude geared towards success and knowledge- Be able to lift up to 50lbs Work schedule:Full time, Monday - Friday, 6:30am-3pm.
