Provides administrative, logistical and technical support for Scientific staff conducting studies or supporting functions for operations of the laboratory. Coordinates all laboratory support, pre-study activities, method development, method validation, study activities, data and/or reporting activities. Responsible for data review for completeness, quality or QC against the applicable protocol or procedure. May be responsible for drafting client correspondence, study correspondence, reporting or direct client interaction. Interacts with other departments, scientific staff, and sponsors either locally or across sites.Responsible for monitoring of study progress from initiation to completion, production of interim reports/data tables, and generation of end-of-study reports for assigned studies in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice Regulations and Standard Operating Procedures. Responsibilities include review of study records and preparation of methodology section of reports, collation and quality control of data, preparation of report tables and review, scientific interpretation of data and writing the results of the study in collaboration with study director, client, and governmental regulatory agencies. Fulfills a leadership role within the department for less-experienced analysts, including assisting in the training of other personnel.Key skills include training and 2-3 years of experience writing scientific reports, excellent writing skills, attention to detail, personal computer literacy, good understanding of scientific procedures, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively at several levels of an organization. Demonstrated proficiency in all functions listed on the department's training form. Ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities and ethnic backgrounds is essential.MS degree with minimum of 2-3 years experience writing scientific reports outside of Charles River or minimum 2-3 years experience at Study Analyst level About Safety AssessmentCharles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
