St. Albans, Vermont: We seek a skilled ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON to join a state-of-the-art 70-bed hospital in this desirable New England city just 30 minutes north of Burlington.Become part of a thriving team that includes 3 Surgeons (1 general/total knees, 1 spine/total hips, 1 sports/total joints) along with 2 Podiatrists (1 is surgical) supported by a long-term, multidisciplinary team of 5 PAs and multiple MAs who are excellent with instrumentation and equipment. Practice in freshly updated ORs with features including all new LED operating room lights, new dual monitors for integrated PACs, new equipment booms, and Stryker integration in 3 large rooms and 2 smaller ORs. They have a Hanna table (and anterior approach hip system) and a Velys system for knees with computer assisted robotic TKR. This hospital-owned group has an excellent referral system and plenty of volume to keep all surgeons busy.You will enjoy a convenient 4 day/week schedule that typically includes 2 clinic days and 2 OR days with prime time block scheduling. You will be happy to hear that PAs take first call your share will be second call, 1:4, usually 1 day/week and 1 weekend/month providing an excellent lifestyle.MDs and DOs are equally welcome.
